Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions and specifies the Customer's obligations when using all services (web hosting, VPS/root servers, web servers, e-mail, game servers, domains, studio). It serves to protect our infrastructure, other customers and third parties.
1. General Principles
The Customer must not use the services in any way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of third parties, endangers the security or availability of the infrastructure, or breaches the policies of upstream networks or partners.
2. Prohibited Content
Prohibited in particular is the storage, publication or distribution of:
- content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights (e.g. unlicensed software, media, warez),
- depictions of child sexual abuse and any material punishable under German or applicable law,
- content inciting hatred, glorifying violence, or of a terrorist or extremist nature,
- defamatory, slanderous content or content infringing the personality rights of third parties,
- content violating youth protection regulations,
- fraudulent offers, pyramid schemes or other unlawful commercial practices.
3. Prohibited Activities
Prohibited in particular are:
- Spam / unsolicited bulk communication: sending unsolicited advertising by e-mail or other messaging systems, operating open mail relays, and harvesting addresses for this purpose.
- Malware: distribution, hosting or control of viruses, trojans, ransomware, bots or command-and-control infrastructure.
- Attacks / network abuse: DoS/DDoS attacks, port scanning, unauthorised intrusion, brute-force attacks, IP/DNS spoofing or other interference with third-party systems.
- Resource abuse: actions that use the allocated resources disproportionately or to the detriment of other customers (especially on shared systems), and impermissible crypto mining on plans not intended for it.
- Circumvention of security or billing mechanisms.
4. E-mail-Specific Rules
Messages are only sent to recipients who have consented or with whom a legitimate contact exists. We reserve the right to limit sending rates and to block sending if spam is suspected. The Customer ensures correct SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration where its management is the Customer's responsibility.
5. Game Server and Application Rules
The Customer operates only licensed content and complies with the terms of use of the respective game/software vendors. Modifications must not circumvent protection mechanisms and must not infringe the rights of third parties.
6. Consequences of Breaches
In the event of breaches, the Provider is entitled to block or remove the affected content, temporarily suspend services and – in the case of serious or repeated breaches – terminate the contract for cause. In cases of imminent danger (e.g. an ongoing attack, criminal content), immediate measures without prior notice may be necessary; the Customer will be informed of this without undue delay where legally permissible.
7. Reports
Please send reports of allegedly illegal content or abuse to support@nobodyworkz.eu. The procedure is described in our Abuse / Reporting Policy (notice-and-action under Article 16 DSA).
