Commission a FiveM vehicle, built properly, not clicked together.

Honestly, up front: we build vehicles to commission, not as catalogue stock, there is nothing here to buy off the shelf. And we currently accept studio commissions selectively only, because our focus is on the hosting lines. Ask anyway: if it fits we will say yes, and if it does not we will say so immediately rather than string you along.

01

What goes into a FiveM vehicle?

More than a model with four wheels.

A FiveM vehicle is not a single 3D model but a bundle of model, collision, handling and metadata. Only when every part fits does it drive the way it looks.

Why LODs decide the performance

A vehicle is not rendered once but at many distances at the same time, for every car in view. Without proper LOD stages a single high-resolution model drags the frame rate down noticeably once twenty of them line a street. So we build several detail stages per vehicle rather than one.

The parts

  1. The model itself (.yft) with body, moving parts such as doors, bonnet and boot, plus the deformation zones for damage.

  2. The textures (.ytd) for paint, interior, glass, tyres and plates.

  3. The collision, so the vehicle does not slide through walls and damage lands in the right place.

  4. The handling in handling.meta, mass, drivetrain, gearbox, brakes, traction.

  5. The vehicles.meta and carvariations.meta with seats, liveries and tuning parts.

02

How to recognise a well-built vehicle

The things you only notice after buying.

  • Clean topology

Even polygon distribution instead of parts cut together. That decides whether paint and reflections run across the body or break at the edges.

  • Modelled interior

A visible cockpit with instruments, seats and trim, not a dark surface behind the glass. In roleplay you sit inside longer than you stand outside.

  • Working LODs

Several detail stages so distant vehicles stay cheap. If they are missing you only notice on a busy street, and by then it is expensive to fix.

  • Fitting handling

A small car that drives like a sports car breaks immersion faster than any texture problem. We tune handling.meta to the vehicle.

  • Damage and deformation

Defined deformation zones so a crash looks like a crash, not like a model flickering briefly.

  • Staying lore-friendly

On request in the style of Los Santos rather than an exact copy of a real brand. That is not just taste, it keeps trademark trouble away from you.

The point where many servers get mail.

Are real car brands allowed on the server?

We do not model protected brands, logos or third-party designs, that is also written into our licence terms. What we build are our own designs: lore-friendly vehicles that may clearly evoke a reference without carrying its trademarks.

That is not pedantry. Vehicles with real brand logos regularly draw complaints on FiveM servers. If you already run such vehicles, that is your decision and your risk, you will not get them from us. This is our assessment as a studio and does not replace legal advice.

03

How does a vehicle commission work?

From brief to handover, all in the portal.

The process is the same as for our MLOs, only the questions in the brief differ.

  1. 01

    Enquiry

In the customer portal: project type “vehicle”, complexity, budget range and target date.

  2. 02

    Brief

Reference or original design, vehicle class, desired handling, interior depth, liveries and tuning parts. You upload reference images directly.

  3. 03

    Quote

From the brief we cut a fixed quote, which you accept in the portal or send back for changes.

  4. 04

    Blockout

The basic form goes to approval before time flows into detail, changing it is still cheap here.

  5. 05

    Build and test

Detail, textures, LODs, collision and handling. We drive it on a test server before you see it.

  6. 06

    Handover

Finished resource with installation instructions, plus the invoice, all on the commission, no Discord thread that gets lost.

04

What does a custom vehicle cost?

What drives the price, and what does not.

There is no honest flat rate here, and we would rather quote nothing than a number that will not hold. What we can lay open is where the effort actually comes from:

You get a fixed quote in the customer portal before work starts. If your budget does not match the wish, we say so during the brief, not halfway through the build.

05

How do I install a vehicle on my FiveM server?

Four steps, same as an MLO.

  1. Upload the resource folder into resources/ over SFTP.

  2. Add a line ensure <foldername> to your server.cfg.

  3. Restart the server and reconnect once so the assets stream.

  4. Spawn it in game and check handling, interior, collision and damage.

The most common cause of trouble is a model name already taken by another vehicle, then one of the two will not load. Vehicles from our production ship with installation instructions, and if your server runs with us the same contact covers both asset and machine.

Frequently asked questions about FiveM vehicles

Answered briefly.

all answers in the help centre

  1. 01

Do you sell ready-made FiveM vehicles?

No. We build vehicles to commission from a brief, our shop carries finished assets for interiors, exteriors and scripts, but no off-the-shelf vehicles. If you need a particular vehicle, ask for it; if you want something finished right now, we are the wrong supplier and would rather tell you straight away.

  2. 02

What does a custom vehicle for FiveM cost?

That depends too much on scope for a flat rate to be honest. The price is driven mainly by: an original design or a build from a reference, how much interior should be visible, the number of moving parts and deformation zones, the number of liveries and tuning parts, how finely the handling is tuned, and how many review rounds you plan for. You get a fixed quote in the customer portal before work starts, not a timesheet afterwards.

  3. 03

Are you allowed to recreate real car brands?

We do not. Our licence terms expressly warrant that our content contains no third-party brands, logos or protected designs. What we build are our own lore-friendly designs: they may evoke a reference but carry no trademarks. Vehicles with real logos regularly draw complaints on FiveM servers, that is the reason for this line. Our assessment as a studio, not legal advice.

  4. 04

What is a LOD and why does it matter for vehicles?

LOD stands for level of detail: the same vehicle at several detail stages, from which the engine picks by distance. It matters more for vehicles than almost anything else, because rarely is only one in frame. A model without proper LOD stages goes unnoticed with one vehicle, with twenty at a junction it does not, and then it shows in every player’s frame rate. So we build several stages per vehicle.

  5. 05

Can you tune the handling as well?

Yes, that is part of it here. handling.meta defines mass, drivetrain, gearbox, brakes and traction, a small car that drives like a sports car breaks immersion faster than any texture problem. We tune the handling to the vehicle and drive it on a test server before handover.

  6. 06

How do I install a vehicle on my FiveM server?

In four steps: upload the resource folder into resources/ over SFTP, add a line ensure <foldername> to server.cfg, restart the server and reconnect once, then spawn it in game and check handling, interior, collision and damage. The most common cause of trouble is a model name already taken by another vehicle, then one of the two will not load. Installation instructions are included.

  7. 07

May I use the vehicle on several servers?

The standard licence covers a single server setup. That may be a connected infrastructure you run yourself throughout; several separate setups, such as multiple communities or brands, each need their own licence. Extended forms such as multi-server or reseller licences exist by separate written agreement. Our EULA is what governs.

  8. 08

How long does a vehicle commission take?

That is in the quote, not before, it depends on scope and on how many review rounds you plan for. More reliable than a number is the process: after the brief you get a fixed quote with a date, then you see every phase live in the portal, including a blockout for approval before time flows into detail. And because we currently accept commissions selectively, we decline in advance rather than miss a date.

Asset and machine from one place.

Vehicle finished, will it run on your server?

Installing one needs full file access to your server. That is exactly what you get here: a file manager in the customer portal and SFTP per server, plus txAdmin and a live console. When a vehicle raises performance questions, one contact sees both sides.
