What you get
A world that keeps going while you are offline.
On a dedicated server your Pals keep working at the base while nobody plays, and anyone in your group can join at any time. Nobody has to keep their own PC running as host.
Normally you configure a Palworld server in PalWorldSettings.ini, one single, very long line. With us you set the values in the customer portal, each with a name and an explanation. The server writes them to the file on the next start.
02
Hardware and ports
The values our template starts with.
Palworld needs a lot of memory, and the need grows with server uptime. For full servers with large bases we recommend 16 GB.
Ports are preconfigured and shown in the customer portal. RCON is meant for admin tools.
| Value | Template |
|---|---|
| Memory (minimum) | 8 GB |
| Memory (recommended) | 16 GB |
| Slots | 4–32 |
| Port Game (UDP) | 8211 |
| Port Steam Query | 27015 |
| Port RCON | 25575 |

Worth knowing
To keep the server running smoothly.
- Restart daily
- A Palworld server's memory use grows with uptime. One scheduled restart per day keeps it stable. Create it in the portal under Tasks, ideally at a time nobody plays.
- Changes need a restart
- Palworld reads its settings only on start. After changing something in the portal, restart the server once.
- Bringing a save
- Upload an existing save via SFTP into Pal/Saved/SaveGames. Make a backup in the portal first.

01
How many players fit on the server?
Our template goes from 4 to 32 players. 32 is the limit Palworld sets for dedicated servers.
02
Do I have to edit PalWorldSettings.ini myself?
No. You set everything in the customer portal. If you prefer working in the file, you can reach the INI via SFTP too.
03
Why does Palworld need so much memory?
The server keeps the whole world with all Pals and bases in memory, and the need grows with uptime. That is why we recommend 16 GB for full servers and a daily restart.
04
Can I upgrade the server later?
Yes. Change the player count in the portal. The new price applies pro rata from the switch.
